The New Amsterdams- Picture in the Paper
I first heard The New Amsterdams on the Vagrant Records compilation “Another Year on the Streets.” I was previously a huge Get Up Kids fan, and discovering The New Amsterdams was like finding a diamond in the rough. From their album Para Toda Vida, Matt Pryor shines lyrically, dripping honesty and earnest reflection. Also, check out Worse For The Wear, which in my opinion, is a more dynamic record. I enjoy this song so much that I may have to cover it in the next couple days. DISCUSS, and, as always, I want to hear recommendations.
