Opening scene to Woody Allen’s “MANHATTAN”.

In twelve hours I’ll be at O’Hare Airport in Chicago en route to New York City, where we’ll spend a lavishly lurid weekend.  Ok, I may be seriously exaggerating with the whole “lavishly lurid” bit, but the weekend in Manhattan part is accurate.  Anyways, I’m about to watch Manhattan to heighten the anticipation (and I’d like to see you try and not romanticize even the most fleeting shreds of minutia when Woody Allen has been rambling his torturously wonderful monologues… I dare ya), and I felt compelled to share this opening scene to one of my favorite flicks by one of my favorite flick-makers.

NYC, you really do make me fall in love with you over and again… if only within a weekend.
