PIEBALD - AMERICAN HEARTS
I’ve taken a considerable and much needed break from the internet, but I’m feeling better about the climate of things now. After returning home from Australia I needed to decompress, enjoy some time for myself and my family, and the last thing I wanted to do was open a web browser. But here I am, fingers sore from playing guitar all week, listening to my music library set to random, and this Piebald song came on, winning the little lotto. Here are some things that have been going on with me lately.
+ I’ve been working out, trying to get the “300” abs.
- My abs ABSolutely don’t look anything like Gerard Butler’s.
+ Golfing. Yes, golfing. You know, like Ernie Els.
- Can’t sleep.
+ Playing an anti-suicide benefit show acoustic at my old school tomorrow night.
- Going back to school kind of scares the shit out of me.
+ The AP Tour is only 2 weeks away.
- My hate/love/hate relationship with the net.
+ The chefs on the new season of Top Chef.
- Every other reality show.
+ Inglorious Basterds.
- Halloween 2.
+ The endless fight for a balanced life.
- Neighbors on your block reminding you of the Klopek’s from “The Burbs” starring Tom Hanks.
+ You.
The NFL season kicks off this evening, about which I am also quite delighted. Hopefully Jay Cutler can lead the Bears through the playoffs to a Championship.
These are a few of my favorite things.
