For everyone who was expecting that Christmas bonus…
The Dark Knight Rises official trailer.
This is worth looking forward to.
FILMS ON FRIDAY
—————
Edward Scissorhands - Directed by Tim Burton
Though I bet this is a flick you’ve already seen, I thought it’d be a good night to dig up a classic. Definitely in my top 3 Tim Burton films, Edward Scissorhands is the first of many pictures featuring the Burton/Depp pairing, and arguably the best of the lot (Other 2 faves are Beetlejuice and Big Fish). Johnny Depp pulls off a role that very few could handle as Edward, teetering the balance beam of innocence and loneliness like a tight rope walker.
Also starring the beautiful Winona Ryder, whom I definitely have a celebrity crush on, and the talented Diane Wiest. Oh, and ya gotta love the short-lived Anthony Michael Hall comeback effort. He plays a dick-head naturally well, doesn’t he?
Anyways, let’s get into it!
START TIME: 9:15 CT
Bonaventure - These Shoes
Yet another band performing at the Dec. 30th Acoustic Christmas, Nashville’s own Bonaventure.
A really great song with a cool looking down to earth video… I’m really looking forward to seeing these dudes live. You should be too.
TICKETS available now.
Stop passin’ gas, get off your ass and act fast or get left in the tracks, jack!
Scene from Catch Me If You Can.
Everything about this scene is perfect.
“Hollingsworth… Yes. Grumpy old Hollingsworth, right? I’ll tell ya, meaner than ever.”
